Ever since Jean Neuhaus, Jr. invented the praline, our chocolates have always been composed with care in Belgium. In 1958, the World Exposition took place in Brussels and Neuhaus was selected to present a new creation which would epitomize the tradition of Belgian Chocolate excellence and innovation. Neuhaus’ Master Chocolatier saw this honor as the perfect occasion to create a special, hand-crafted gift. A traditional nougatine shell, hand-filled with smooth vanilla cream or coffee ganache, coated in fine chocolate – “Caprice” and “Tentation,” the first Irrésistibles, were born.
Neuhaus has expanded the Irrésistibles Core Collection with three additional flavors and continues to innovate with vibrant and decadent flavors in this format – while always remaining true to the craftsmanship with which these Belgian chocolate icons are made. Today, as we mark the 60th anniversary of the World Exposition, connoisseurs still unite in agreement: this symphony of taste & texture is divine.
