The family of Manon pralines is believed to be named after Suzanne, daughter of Jean Neuhaus. Suzanne Neuhaus was a well known opera singer. In 1942, she achieved fame in the role of "Manon Lescaut" in the famous opera "Manon" written by Jules Massenet.
